Wanting and Having
We waited quietly. I didn't touch him, or speak to him until we heard that knock on the door signalling that Adrian and Mara had arrived. He turned to watch as I walked across the room to open the door for them and I heard a quiet hiss of indrawn breath at what he saw. Mara has that effect on men.
She walked slowly into the darkened room, wrapping her dark arms around me, embracing me warmly before kissing me. Adrian waited to one side, a smile playing at the corners of his luscious lips. He knew what would follow. We'd played this scene once before with rather explosive results.
Mara stood patiently while I greeted Adrian as I'd greeted her. We knew each other well, better than most people know even their lovers. She knew that even a rather polite kiss from Adrian left me just a little breathless and overheated. He knew it too and revelled in that fact.
While her companion did his best to heat me, she walked slowly around Stephen. Occasionaly she'd trail a fingertip along his skin, other times she'd lean closer to inhale his scent. He shivered. Each time she leaned closer, her long, dark hair brushed across his skin in an accidental caress. I remembered how it felt, that silken veil cascading across you, the warm, exotic scent of her shampoo, both guaranteed to set your mind spinning into fantasies. She stepped closer to him and I turned from Adrian to watch.
"You'll be mine later, boy," she whispered to him. "I hope you like screaming, because you'll be doing a lot if it." Not a trace of expression shifted as he stared straight ahead. He acted now as if she were not even there. That simply would not do.
"Mara, would you tie Stephen for me? I want him to have a clear view of everything we'll be doing, but don't give him enough slack to move." She nodded, taking the lenth of silk rope I handed her.
"Mine," she whispered to him again.
